Sweet, charming, funny, talkative, center-of-attention...Gradybug
Grady is the kind of kid you would love to be around. He is affectionately referred to as Gradybug (a name Grandma, my mother, gave him even before he was born). Grady loves to dance, sing songs, play in the bath, play with his trucks, throw and hit the baseball (excessively), carry his blankies everywhere (all 5 of them at once sometimes), be "OUTSIDE", read books, and say "Cheeeeese" for the camera. If we can't get him to eat anything for dinner, our default is baked beans, because he can't get enough of them. He brings such a big smile to my face and there's no way I can even describe how much we love this child.
As we prepare to welcome more babies to our family, we decided it was time for Grady to get a big boy room to prepare him for the transition. His room is decked out in a baseball theme, and has a chair where he can read his books. He LOVES his room, and has been sleeping much better in his big boy room than he ever did in his crib. This is one small step in the transition of bringing another baby to the family (much less two more), and I think this will be our easiest transition.
Grady is still very unsure about the fact that there will soon be 2 more babies in the house, and we will all have an interesting transition into becoming a family of 5. In time, I know that Grady is going to love these babies, and will be such a big help when they get here. He will be an awesome big brother!
